Coastal Sea Level Rise and Coastal Flooding

The US coast from Cape Hatteras to New England is experiencing increased coastal or tidal flooding because of local sea level rise. I started this blog to track the developing scientific understanding of the causes and to provide sources of information to both scientists and anyone else interested.

Opening remarks

Initial Posting

Over the past two years the interest in the science of coastal sea level rise and the need for information has increased significantly. I myself have needed to organize the information so I thought I'd try to do it in a blog format.
